WP Search Feeds fixed

So I noticed the other night that my WashingtonPost.com search feeds were broken. They changed their site layout.

I’d been parsing their page with regular expressions, which worked well enough but made it a bit difficult to change. This time around I used sgmllib, which makes things quite a bit nicer.

A little while ago I put up a link to my washingtonpost.com search feeds. Finally got around to cleaning things up a bit, and putting a link over in the sidebar.

So yeah, I changed the layout. I’m not done with it yet, since I’m not really 100% happy.

But, at least it’s no longer the default theme 8)

Just realized that this incarnation of my blog has been around for 2 years.

Certainly nothing earth shattering, especially considering my slow pace of posts. But still, Yay me.

Turning on comments

I’ve decided to give comments a shot. Installed a few spam plugins, we’ll see how annoying this gets.

New Look, New Features

Finally moved over to WordPress. Also changed the style sheet quite a bit. I’m sure I’ll be tweaking it off and on.

Added a quick links section, mostly so I can keep up with nifty things I fine. Not much there but I’m sure it’ll grow quickly. I also added a random links box with selections from my blogroll.
