Political Commentary

Amber has to get two new tires on her car, so this morning I drove her to work so I could drop her car off at the shop. Jeff offered to pick me up and drive me in to work.

So anyway, as Amber and I are driving to Memorial we pass two intersections with local politicians and supporters holding signs and waving at people. A few thoughts on this:

  1. It frightens me to think that some people are probably swayed by seeing a guy standing on a corner waving a sign

  2. The fact that you have nothing better to do at 6:45 am than stand on a corner makes me think you're a bum, not a good leader

  3. Actually, a politician standing on a street corner trying to sell himself is probably a much better commentary than I could ever make.
