Introducing portaPuTTY

I’ve posted portaPuTTY, which will run cleanly on a USB drive.

This is why open source rocks. I had an idea for some changes, downloaded the code and off we go.

    Dude, awesome!!

    Finally someone did it.
Trust me 1000s people had this idea, no one had the balls to implement it.

It’s even on the Putty wishlist along with a reason why it’s not gonna happen.

    Way to go!

I’m hoping this will do what I need it to. One question though, and it’s something I complain of rather a lot: Where’s the docs? A readme? An example config file? All I’ve got are what looks like the standard putty tools. I got this from the download link on your page. What gives?

Patrick: what gives is, I assume anyone using portaputty knows how to use putty. You can find the docs for putty at: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/docs.html
