Ah! brother preachers, we love the old saints, missionaries, martyrs, reformers: our Luthers, Bunyans, Wesleys, Asburys, etc. We will write their biographies, reverence their memories, frame their epitaphs, abd build their monuments. We will do anything except imitate them. We cherish the last drop of their blood, but watch carefully the first drop of our own!

Amber gave me a gift certificate to Lowes for my birthday in May. finally used it this past Thursday night.

Since moving into the house from the apartment I’ve been trying to get the tools and such I’ll need for keeping up with the yard and all that jazz; stuff you never need in an apartment.

So, ended up with:

• Two rakes
• Pruning tools
• Two shovels
• an ax

So now I’m feeling all manly, ready to wreck havoc on the backyard.
